2025 Update
Hi all,
We have a small calendar change ahead of our 2025 season. The Mudbilly’s event originally scheduled for 30th-31st August has now changed to 12th-13th July at Monster Mountain CF48 4AQ. This means less travel for people and better weather for us to be involved (fingers crossed) Calendars will be updated to reflect this change.
Because of this we have decided to run a Minicross Nationals end of year event 13th-14th September hosted by us @ Fasttraxx CV7 9JN. This will include our championship presentation, all minibike individual classes and an evening hot lap on the supercross track. For those who joined us in 2024 you will agree how much fun this event was!
Half of our members from last year have re-registered, please remember you have until the end of January to secure your place in the championship and your riding number before we open to the newer guys.
We still have raffle tickets remaining for the Daytona 190 draw. It’s £5 a ticket for your chance to win a brand-new race engine for 2025. Your raffle ticket money goes a long way for the pit bike community, and we can’t thank you enough for this.
AMCA licences are available at a cost of £70 for the year, if you are planning to do more than 4 rounds then this is highly recommended and will save you money in the long run. Day licences are available for each event if you don’t choose to get a licence - portal.amca.uk.com
Transponders - we recommend that you have your own, these are available from £84 per year. You can save money on a longer subscription. You can hire transponders at each round for £10-£15 however, some tracks require you to leave a big deposit as often there are not enough to go round. murraymotorsport.com/tr2-mx-motorscross-transponder-rechargeable
The club is self-funded, Minicross nationals receives NO funds from any of its races/supported races. We are always on the lookout for sponsors especially for our event in September. 2025 is set to be the biggest year for pit bike racing in the UK and we really appreciate all the support!
WHAT IS MINICROSS NATIONALS?
PIT BIKE RACING
For many years pit bike racers were offered brilliant events by Minibike Champs, but due to other commitments the organisers have now stopped putting on these events. There are over 200 riders in the UK who want to race pit bikes. 7-ONE Racing owner Blaine Blackwell who is passionate about racing has used contacts in the motocross world to be able to offer a 10-round championship running alongside well-established motocross events under AMCA as a support class. Of course, this means we can only have one class at these races, however we have split this into two, by scoring open class and farm bikes separately.
